💾 Saving Your Progress

Click 💾 Save Progress in the topbar — this downloads a .json file to your computer.

Name it something clear — the app auto-names it with the date and time.

Do this before closing the tab. Autosave keeps things alive while you work — but only the downloaded JSON survives if your browser closes.

⚠️ Autosave = in-memory only. If the tab closes without a Save Progress, that session's changes are gone.

📂 Restoring a Backup

Open the HTML file in your browser.

Click 📂 Load in the topbar.

Select your most recent .json file. Everything restores instantly.

💻 Moving to Another Device

Travel laptop, home computer — same steps every time.

On this device first: Click 💾 Save Progress → save the JSON.

Upload both files to Google Drive — the HTML file and the JSON file.

On the other device: open Google Drive → download both files to that computer.

Open the HTML file in any browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge — all work).

Click 📂 Load → select the JSON → you're live with all your data.

☁️ Keeping It Safe on Google Drive

Create a folder in Google Drive called Empire OS.

After every session — drag the latest HTML + JSON into that folder.

Keep the last 3 JSON files. If something ever breaks, you have rollback options.

🧠 Your C-Suite Wants You To Know

Always load your JSON first when starting a new Claude build session. Your data lives in that file, not the HTML.

Don't rename the HTML file mid-session. Open it, work in it, save it — rename only when archiving an old version.

Something looks broken? Click 📂 Load and reload your last JSON before doing anything else. 9 times out of 10 that fixes it.

🤖 Ask Claude inside a task — that button copies the full task context to your clipboard then opens Claude. Paste it in and go. Whatever Claude tells you, copy useful parts back into the Notes Log manually.
